These earlier pieces of the series were mainly focused as synesthetic responses to language as musical economy— rendering the movement of sound as a linear transcription of color.

In a methodical, yet playful process of mark-making, Jori produces vivid expressions reminiscent of ways energy behaves within the concealed chambers of the brain. Streams of invisible frequencies are constantly consumed by the senses to articulate readable wavelengths that the brain and body then collaboratively translate into memory of this material experience.

The beauty of this mechanical exchange between brain and body is made complete once these wavelengths have been simultaneously braided in with unpredictable, complex series of emotions— weaving the dynamic patterns whereby our own narrative of Time claims a voice— giving meaning to the moments which may otherwise remain undefined.

I work closely with my dedicated fine arts printer and oversee the production of each print edition from start to completion. To ensure for print consistency and color accuracy, I personally inspect every piece before it gets the go-ahead to live its new life with you :)

Small prints are securely wrapped and shipped flat in a reinforced package.

Once dispatched they will be delivered to you by USPS Priority Mail within approximately 2-3 working days.
